We are honoured to have you participate in our classes, workshops, training, treatments, and the use of our space! We understand that at times, life happens and you can no longer follow through on the commitments you make. We have created this Cancellation Policy in order to uphold integrity and best practices from a business perspective, and we believe it is a compassionate approach.
Read below to clarify questions you may have about our cancellation policy.
Workshops and Events
When you register for a workshop or event, your registration can be exchanged for another workshop of the same value (or pay the difference), if you need to cancel within 7 days of the event. This season, make up workshops are only available in September and October, and only when space allows.
Cancellations less than 7 days of the event will not be exchanged or refunded, as we have costs that have already incurred.
Registered Series
Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, we are no longer able to offer make up classes for missed Registered classes.
200 Hr Yoga Teacher Training
Upon acceptance into the training, you are required to give a $500+ HST deposit for securing your space, and the full tuition is required (payment plans available upon request). The deposit and tuition is non refundable. If you decide to cancel before 60 days of the start date of the training, your tuition, minus the deposit, can be deferred to the next scheduled training. If you cancel between 60 – 30 days of the training start date, we will offer 50% of your fees, minus the deposit, toward the next training. With less than 30 days before the training start date, we are unable to offer a deferral to the next training. Note that full payment of the tuition is required regardless of successful completion of the program. If you do not complete the program, for any circumstances, including your decision to cancel, we will not be able to offer a refund or a deferral of your tuition.
Yoga Retreats
We do not offer refunds or deferrals for Yoga Retreats, as costs are already incurred when you make your booking.
Space Rentals
When you rent space from Peterborough Living Yoga, whether for a series or a workshop/ event, you may receive a refund if your cancellation is within one month of the date(s) of your booking. After one month, we still require you to pay your invoice, even if you do not follow through with your event/ class, as we have costs that have already incurred and need sufficient time to fill your time slot.
Holistic Treatments – Hypnotherapy, Relaxation Massage, Reiki
Client cancellations less than 48 hours before an appointment incur a fee of $25 + HST. This amount will be added onto your next appointment.
