Join us on the eve of the Winter Solstice, to embrace the healing power of turning inward, integrating, and restoring through Restorative Yoga and live, heart centered music. Here in the Northern hemisphere, the Winter Solstice marks the longest night, and signals a powerful transition between seasons, as we prepare for the deep stillness of Winter. As we approach this longest night of darkness, we celebrate our inherent need to move inward and restore ourselves through rest, while gathering in celebration of our own inner light. The practice of Restorative Yoga is a beautiful way to create a ritual of inner listening and restoration, and the practice of chanting and receiving the sounds of mantras and heart music brings ceremony and healing. This class will be 1.5 hours of gentle, restorative yoga and solstice themed meditation, guided by Tiina Kivinen, with live musicians Chantal Langois and Dana Salahub, creating an inspiring soundscape, with opportunities to sing together.
