Join us for a class devoted to freedom of body, mind, and spirit through dance, yoga, and meditation. This class with be part guided, and part free movement. The guidance is intended to inspire you into a meditative state of movement that arises from your own life force, set to an inspired playlist of music that will move you. We believe in the healing power of dance and music, and intend to hold a welcoming space for your individuality, honouring your energy level and ability. All abilities are welcome, you can even do this class in a chair, or lying down. (although we do have stairs to get into the space unfortunately so we apologize that we are not a completely accessible space). No dance or yoga experience is necessary, just a willingness to play and explore in a supportive and encouraging space. Each Movement Medicine class will close with a deep and delicious relaxation, so you will leave feeling balanced, refreshed, and peaceful.
